Amigurumi Gnome!

Crochet a winter gnome!!

Materials:
G6/4.00mm hook
ww yarn in blue, red, and white (or any colors you choose!)

This pattern is worked in spiral throughout; place marker in the last stitch of each round and move it up as you go along to keep track of rounds.

Head/Hat (start at the top of the hat with red):
Rnd 1: 3sc in magic loop (3sc)
Rnd 2: *sc* in each st around
Rnd 3: *2sc* in each st around (6sc)
Rnd 4: rpt rnd 2
Rnd 5: *2sc in next st, sc in next st* around (9sc)
Rnd 6: rpt rnd 2
Rnd 7: *2sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts* around (12sc)
Rnd 8: rpt rnd 2
Rnd 9: *2sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts* around (15sc)
Rnd 10: *2sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts* around (18sc)
Rnd 11: *2sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts* around (21sc)
Rnd 12: (switch to white) *sc* in each st around
Rnd 13-15: rpt rnd 2
Rnd 16: *sc in next 5 sts, dec* around (18sc)
Rnd 17: *sc in next 4 sts, dec* around (15sc)
sl st in next st, fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Hat Brim (red):
Rnd 1: sc in the front post of rnd 11 (I added an extra sc to connect the stitches smoothly) (22sc)
Rnd 2: *2sc* in each st around (44sc)
Rnd 3: *sc in next 10 sts, 2sc in next st* around (48sc)
sl st in next st, fasten off, weave in all loose ends around the hat.

Beard (white):
Row 1: 9 sc in the front post of rnd 16 (9sc)
Row 2-3: ch 1, 9 sc across
Row 4: ch 1, dec, 5 sc, dec (7sc)
Row 5: ch 1, dec, 3 sc, dec (5sc)
Row 6: ch 1, dec, 1 sc, dec (3sc)
Row 7: ch1, dec, 1sc (2sc)
Row 8: ch1, 2 sc
Row 9: ch1, dec (1sc)
Row 10: ch1, 1 sc
fasten off, leave a long tail for securing the beard to the body.

Body (start at the bottom with blue)
Rnd 1: 7sc in magic loop (7sc)
Rnd 2: *2sc* in each st (14sc)
Rnd 3: *2sc in next st, sc in next st* around (21sc)
Rnd 4: *2sc in next st, sc in next 6 sts* around (24sc)
Rnd 5: sc in next 8 sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 9 sts (27sc)
Rnd 6: *sc* around
Rnd 7: sc in next 9 sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 9 sts (30sc)
Rnd 8-9: rpt rnd 6
Rnd 10: (switch to red) rpt rnd 6

How tall is your gnome... roughly.. ? :)

I gave away all of them that I have so I'm not entirely sure. I'm guessing that he's between 4"and 6".
